Punta Mita by starlight and flashlight
Cool evening zephyrs help my pen to write
Five years since I've seen her last
Vacations as this compel one to reminisce the past
Punta Mita by starlight and flashlight
Where nature prevails over man's delight
With sea waves raging toward rocky cliff beaches
This nomadic surf-seeker learns from the lesson each teaches
As I turn off the flashlight for a while and take it all in
I bring with me months and tons of worry and problems
Laying all of them tearfully at this alter of coral and stone
I look up into the blackness of eternity, knowing I'm finally
home
Falling stars, fire flies, and milky skyward trails
Are all the remedies needed for curing all that ails
Yes, nothing can soothe the stressed and uptight
Like Punta Mita by starlight and flashlight.
